On Patch Production
Gardena, CA--Rigel Products purchased an ATOM traveling-head die-cutting
machine in order to make patches at a competitive unit cost.
Sold under the brand Boresmith TM, the Triangle Patches TM sell at prices similar to
those for square and round patches. Initial product will be patches for the following
caliber ranges: .22 to .27, .27 to .35, .35 to .45, and .45 to 12 gauge.
With its ATOM machine, large orders are met. As the customer base expands, more
machines will be set up inside the 25,000 square foot facility where fabrication is
located.
